What makes you different from any other dental practice I can visit?
Our doctors and our staff are dedicated to providing you with thorough preventive care. This means that we take a proactive approach to dentistry, resulting in more conservative treatments and more preserved natural tooth structure. In order to provide advanced preventive care, we invest in the dental technologies that we feel will benefit our patients most, and we stay up-to-date on modern methods, procedures, and dental research.
Do you accept new patients and referrals?
Yes, and thank you for your confidence. We appreciate your referrals and promise to extend the same comprehensive, caring service to your friends and coworkers that we give you every time you visit. We even offer a referral rewards program where you can earn gift cards to area businesses for every referral you make.
How do the doctor and the staff keep up to date on all of the current techniques and technologies?
Our dentists – and our team – take more than the state’s requirement for continuing education each year. We also read trade journals, attend professional association meetings, and do everything we can to keep in tune with the latest developments in general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as dental technology. We are passionate about our careers, so we enjoy soaking up new information on our profession, then sharing it with you!
What payment options do you offer?
We accept cash, check, and debit or credit cards (MasterCard/Visa/Discover). If you are covered by a dental insurance plan, we will work with you to help you get whatever benefits you are entitled to. What can you do to improve the appearance of my smile?
Well, we’d like to start by evaluating your oral health, existing smile, and discussing your idea of a spectacular smile. We may suggestporcelain veneers, teeth whitening, replacement teeth, and replacing metal dental work with esthetic restorations. However, your smile may benefit from some artistic bonding and reshaping. Call to schedule a cosmetic consultation, and together, we’ll determine the best road to your ideal smile.
Crowns, veneers, onlays, inlays, dentures and implants . . . Where can I learn more about these procedures?
You can also review our services page for more information. If you have questions about these or other dental procedures, don’t hesitate to call us. We would be happy to explain any aspect of your dental care or our service offerings.
What are the benefits of a digital X-ray over traditional radiographs?
Digital X-rays offer unparalleled benefits over traditional radiographs: they’re convenient, safe for the environment, provide a great opportunity for patient education, can be transferred and copied accurately, and best of all, they’re safer for our patients. Digital X-raysemit about 80-percent less radiation than traditional methods.
I really do not like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?
Many people fear dental visits because of negative past experiences or control issues. We understand dental anxiety and offer a solution to help you overcome your stress. With sedation dentistry, we can help you gain full peace of mind and body so that you can receive the dental work you need – and deserve.
My spouse snores and keeps me up at night . . . can you help?
Snoring may be a sign of a more serious condition known as sleep apnea. One way we can treat snoring and sleep apnea is with oral appliance therapy (custom mouthguards). It works by repositioning the jaw and tongue so that air flows freely through the passageways. Our doctors will work closely with a lab to design a custom mouthpiece that is similar to a traditional mouthguard. The patient wears the mouth piece at night, and the dentist oversees the treatment to ensure the teeth and jaw respond properly.
I often experience headaches, facial pain, and sensitive teeth…could I have TMJ disorder?
Chronic headaches and jaw and facial pain may be symptoms of a misaligned bite, bruxism (grinding), or TMJ disorder. Our dentist will carefully examine your occlusion (bite), jaw, head, and neck to determine the underlying causes of your pain. Oftentimes, we can correct the problem with a custom nightguard. Call our office if you have more questions about headache relief with non-surgical therapies.
